Mission
The mission of FL7.org is to enable the collection and exchange of food safety information among industry and government.
Approach
We will accomplish our goals by effectively utilizing technology and information networking systems. This is becoming easier to do thanks to relatively recent advances in web technology and development tools.
Today
FL7.org provides a framework to facilitate the participation individuals, food companies, software companies, consultants, auditors, advertisers and government representatives to enable the development of food safety systems.
The Future
We don't have it all figured out yet. We know that companies in the food industry face very specific challenges in determining how to address the needs of the FDA in terms of food safety requirements. We know that there are misunderstandings. Our aim is to advance the industry by providing information and software solutions to help meet these challenges.
Meeting these challenges is a collaborative process. We want your participation.
